Jay Bourland

Senior Vice President and General Manager, Customer Communications, Pitney Bowes Software

Jay is a real mathematics expert, and has created a true culture of innovation within Pitney Bowes Software. He holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, and worked for several years as an academic at the University of Washington, Stanford University, and Colorado State University. Prior to his current position, Jay worked at Centrus Software, which was acquired by Pitney Bowes Software, leading efforts to develop new Business Intelligence platform technologies. In 2007, Jay led efforts to re-establish Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software in the Data Quality and Data Integration markets, realizing a 40% growth rate for the division, and helping get the flagship product recognized as “One to Watch” by DM Magazine.
